Event description:

Join us as we reflect on the orchestra’s Spring tour to Russia with two definitive works. Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 11 (The Year 1905) is a dramatic and passionate piece written in commemoration of Russia’s 1905 revolution that has been called a “film score without a film.” YSO Concertmaster Cameron Daly will play the Glazunov violin concerto, and we continue our mission of supporting new music and fostering the talents of Yale undergraduates with a world premiere by Max Vinetz.
