YSO Executive Committee

Photo by Geo Barrios ’24The Yale Symphony Orchestra’s Executive Committee serves to encourage student leadership and participation in the orchestra’s direction and overarching mission as an American university orchestra. The committee for the 2022-23 season includes five student positions, elected by current orchestra members, in addition to Music Director William Boughton and Orchestra Manager Brian Robinson. These student roles include a President (Atticus Margulis-Ohnuma), a Publicity Officer (Erin Nishi), a Social/Activities Officer (Keeley Brooks and Annie Citron), a Programming Officer (Naomi-Jeanne Main), and a Community Engagement Officer (Matthew Miller). An elected tour liaison position (Austin Wang) joins the student executive committee in seasons in which the orchestra is scheduled to go on tour. The committee meets monthly to discuss various aspects of the orchestra’s operations, and each officer also heads a subcommittee of orchestra members that discuss and work to make progress towards their respective officer’s tasks and goals.
