Announcing the Winners of the 2024 William Waite Concerto Competition

On February 18th, eight talented musicians gathered in Morse Recital Hall to compete in the William Waite Concerto Competition, the winner of which earns the opportunity to perform a concerto with the Yale Symphony Orchestra next season. After two rounds of incredible performances, Erin Nishi ’25 and Tobias Liu ’26 were announced as the winners of the competition with their performance of the Mozart “Sinfonia Concertante.” We look forward to hearing their performance next season!
