From Scott Hempling, BR ‘78

Rusty but still have my thumb callous. I did a recital of Handel, Vivaldi, Bloch and Bach at my mother’s retirement home in June, where I also play for High Holy Day services and the occasional Sunday church service. My great friend and superb violinist, Jane Stewart (long with the National Symphony Orchestra), lowered herself to turn pages for my wonderful pianist friend, Ann Turpin. In my non-spare time, I’m a lawyer and expert witness in the field of monopoly utility regulation, and teach the subject as an adjunct at Georgetown Law.
